Mike Trout Not Expected To Play Monday
3 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout (hand) is not expected to play in Monday's game against the Houston Astros. He left Sunday's game against the Texas Rangers in the fifth inning after being hit in his left hand by a pitch and did not return. X-rays on the star outfielder's hand came back negative. Trout said his "hand is sore and swollen, but it's getting better, and he'll see how he feels Monday." Angels manager Joe Maddon said, "it's more than likely Trout will be out Monday." Fantasy managers with weekly moves should leave Trout in their lineup, as he appears to have avoided a significant injury. Stay tuned for further updates.
