Mike Trout Expected To Miss More Time
According to Los Angeles Angels manager Joe Maddon, center fielder Mike Trout (calf) could likely be out for another month as he recovers from a calf injury. Despite being sidelined since May 17, Trout continues to be a lead vote-getter ahead of this season's All-Star game. Although Maddon said the Angels slugger could be available sooner, he also said it would "be a stretch" if Trout was available to play in the midseason classic on July 13 at Coors Field. The 29-year-old was batting .333 with a 1.090 OPS, eight home runs and 18 RBI through 117 at-bats this season before being put on the injured list. Fantasy managers must continue to practice patience with the stud outfielder.
