Mike Smith Suffers A Setback
3 years agoEdmonton Oilers goaltender Mike Smith (lower body) has suffered a setback in his recovery and remains unavailable for the team. The 39-year-old started the first two games of the season but has been out since then and will have to wait a little longer to make his comeback. Smith seemed close to a return, so hopefully this isn't anything too serious. Mikko Koskinen returns to action on Thursday versus Boston after Stuart Skinner made his season debut in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to Detroit. The Finnish netminder has done a great job as Smith's replacement, going 7-1-0 for the season with a 2.54 goals-against average and a .920 save percentage.
