Mike Smith Starts In Net On Saturday Versus Jets
Edmonton Oilers goaltender Mike Smith will pick up his 15th start of the season in Saturday's home game against Winnipeg. He's been in wonderful form throughout the campaign with a 10-3-0 record, a 2.36 goals-against average, a .920 save percentage, and two shutouts. The Oilers have followed up a three-game losing streak with six wins across eight outings, so Smith is playing behind a hot team and should deliver the W on Saturday night. The Jets are going with Connor Hellebuyck, who beat Montreal in his last start but hasn't won back-to-back games all month.
