Mike Moustakas Scores NLDS Game 2 Winner
6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers third baseman Mike Moustakas played a critical role for the second straight game Friday. After driving in the game-winner in Game 1, Moustakas would play a role in two key runs in Game 2. In the fourth inning, he would score the first run of the game which would become the eventual game-winner. In the eighth inning, he would drive in the second run of the game to expand the lead to 2-0. The Brewers would go on to win 4-0 to take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-five NLDS series. Moustakas has a history as an exciting prospect and young player for Kansas City until he was traded to Milwaukee. After joining the Brewers this season, he found himself in a crowded talented infield. Moustakas was no longer an everyday starter but so far he has definitely paid off in the playoffs for Milwaukee.
