Mike Clevinger Scratched Due to Illness
7 years agoCleveland Indians starting pitcher Mike Clevinger was scratched from Thursday's Cactus League start due to an illness. Evan Marshall will take the mound to start the game off against the Cincinnati Reds in Clevinger's place. Clevinger is already guaranteed a spot in the starting rotation, at least to kick off the season, so missing Thursday's start shouldn't be too big of a deal. He'll likely be back on the mound after a few days of rest and recovery.
