Mike Clevinger Loses but Earns a Quality Start
Cleveland Indians starting pitcher Mike Clevinger picked up a quality start on Friday but was saddled with a loss. He tossed 6 1/3 innings, allowing three runs on eight hits and four walks while striking out six. It wasn't Clevinger's strongest outing, but he was consistently able to limit damage despite allowing plenty of base runners. His record dropped to 3-1 and his ERA stands at 2.87.
