Miguel Rojas Missing Third Straight Game Thursday
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers shortstop Miguel Rojas (groin) is out of the lineup for Thursday's matchup against the Arizona Diamondbacks. It'll be the third consecutive day on the bench for the 34-year-old after hurting his groin during a play in the field in Sunday's contest. As Fabian Ardaya reports, the club will have Rojas complete a full day's worth of workouts but is taking its time with the injury. With that being said, it doesn't seem like he'll miss much more action. Rojas is slashing .143/.200/.214 to begin the season with no home runs and just one run across four games. The former Miami Marlin hasn't been much of an offensive threat throughout his career, exhibited by his lifetime .671 OPS, and doesn't stand out in any category.
