Miguel Cabrera Undergoes Successful Surgery
Miguel Cabrera underwent successful surgery to repair his ruptured bicep tendon and is headed back to Detroit for his rehabilitation. Cabrera is out for the season but the Tigers are confident that he will be ready to go by 2019 spring training. That being said, as Cabrera's age increases and his numbers continue to decrease every year, he is entering a risky territory and it remains to be seen whether or not he will ever return to form or close to it. For those of you in a keeper league considering holding on to him, you probably have someone better and safer to keep in his place.
