Micker Adolfo To Have Tommy John Surgery
6 years agoChicago White Sox outfield prospect Micker Adolfo (elbow) will undergo Tommy John surgery and will be out for eight to 10 months. It's a tough blow for the team's No. 10 ranked prospect, per MLB.com. He was hitting a solid .283 with 11 home runs, 50 RBI and 48 runs scored in 78 games for High-A Carolina this season. This will surely delay his ascent through the team's minor league system, but he still could be an option for the rebuilding Pale Hose in a few seasons.
