6 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Michael Wacha (oblique) retired just two hitters during his 27-pitch rehab outing with High-A Palm Beach on Saturday. He gave up three runs on a hit, two walks and a strikeout. It wasn't a great performance, but all that matters here is that Wacha came out of it healthy. He'll need a handful of rehab outings to get his pitch count back up but should be an option to rejoin the rotation next month. Wacha was fantastic before his injury and should be stashed if you have the room.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
