Michael Thomas Has Yet To Sign Extension
Michael Thomas is working hard to become the highest paid wide receiver in the NFL. It's been reported that Thomas is asking the New Orleans Saints for a contract that would pay the receiver $22 million per year. This would separate Thomas from the competition and have him making well over Odell Beckham Jr's current annual salary ($18 million). The Saints are willing to pay Thomas in the ballpark of $18 million, which leaves the deal in limbo for the present time. Thomas ranked sixth in PPR leagues and eighth in standard fantasy football leagues last season. In total, Thomas posted 1,405 yards, 125 receptions and nine touchdowns in 2018. The Saints signed two undrafted free-agent wide receivers this season (Emmanuel Butler and Jordan Humphries), but no changes have been made to the depth chart at this time.
