Michael Porter Jr. Scores Team-High 30 Points
4 years agoDenver Nuggets small forward Michael Porter Jr. led the team in scoring on Tuesday, posting 30 points on 12-for-18 shooting in a loss against Sacramento. He went 4-for-7 from deep and added 10 rebounds to register his first double-double of the season. Michael Porter Jr. logged less than 30 minutes in the two previous games, but Jamal Murray (right elbow) was out and this resulted in him playing a team-high 40 minutes. Monte Morris, who had a career-high 24 points, also benefited from Murray's absence. Murray's problem doesn't appear to be a long-term issue, but he could also be missing on Friday against Phoenix. If that's the case, then Morris will be a great DFS selection again and Porter Jr. will keep getting more touches offensively.
