Michael Pittman Jr. Held To 39 Scoreless Yards
2 years agoIndianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. hauled in four passes for 39 yards in Monday night's 20-3 loss to the Chargers. The 25-year-old led the team in targets with seven, but his production did not follow. He's typically played the role of their possession receiver, resulting in higher volume and lower total yards, which has been more fruitful as of late, but not this week. The switch at quarterback from Matt Ryan to Nick Foles was supposed to be an upgrade. However, after one game, it's hard to see it that way. The Colts will take on the Giants next week, offering him a chance to bounce back against a porous defense.
