Michael Pittman Jr. Scores, Collects 41 Yards In Week 17 Loss
2 years agoIndianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. caught six of eight targets for 41 yards and a touchdown in the 38-10 Week 17 loss to the Giants. He ranked second in receiving yards for his squad in their Week 17 match against the Giants. But while he only had 41 yards in Sunday's loss, the 25-year-old led the team in receptions with six and caught their only touchdown off a pass by quarterback Sam Ehlinger in the third quarter. Coincidentally, Pittman had his first completion when Ehlinger took over from Nick Foles. They connected on a nine-yard pass off a no-huddle play at the 9:29 mark of the third quarter. Pittman caught four more passes in that 16-play, 68-yard drive that resulted in a touchdown. Ehlinger and Pittman have developed some chemistry in this game which can roll over their Week 18 game against the Houston Texans. It would be wise to keep Pittman as a WR3/flex option, given Houston's struggling pass defense.
