Michael Grove Headed To The Injured List
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told reporters that starting pitcher Michael Grove (groin) will need a trip to the injured list after leaving his Thursday start early with a right groin strain, according to Juan Toribio of MLB.com. It doesn't seem like a serious issue, but he'll go through more testing, and it will force the right-hander to miss a couple of starts. Grove, 26, has made four starts this season and has no wins with an 8.44 ERA, 18.7% strikeout rate, and 1.75 WHIP over 16 innings. It isn't clear who will be taking his spot in the rotation, but fantasy managers looking for rotation help should stay tuned.
