Michael Fulmer Goes Just Three Innings On Sunday
4 years agoDetroit Tigers starting pitcher Michael Fulmer had a short outing on Sunday against the Kansas City Royals. Fulmer pitched three innings and allowed one hit, two walks and no runs while striking out two. He was relieved by Tarik Skubal, who went on to allow two runs and earn the loss in the game. Fulmer and Skubal are being used in tandem in the team's fifth starting pitcher spot right now. Fulmer has a solid 3.32 ERA and 0.84 WHIP on the year, but he isn't going deep enough into games to earn roster consideration in anything other than the deepest of leagues. His next start will be on Friday against the New York Yankees.
