Michael Carter Unable To Return To Practice
3 years agoNew York Jets rookie running back Michael Carter (concussion) was unable to return to practice on Wednesday after suffering a concussion in the Week 17 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Despite the missed practice, the Jets are optimistic that he can clear the league's concussion protocol and play in the Week 18 regular season finale against the Buffalo Bills. Carter was in line for a big day before his injury last Sunday. The 22-year-old could return to lead-back duties this weekend if he can clear the concussion protocols. However, Tevin Coleman has returned from the COVID-19 list, and the Bills defense isn't the greatest of matchups for RBs. If Coleman can return to practice later this week and get the green light, he'll be a low-end RB2 for fantasy managers.
