Michael Carter Runs For Just 15 Yards In Week 4
2 years agoNew York Jets running back Michael Carter picked up just 15 scoreless yards on the ground in a Week 4 win against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Carter ran the ball nine times but was stuffed on nearly every attempt, totaling just the 15 yards. He added two catches on three targets, picking up an additional 14 yards. Meanwhile, rookie running back Breece Hall ran the ball 17 times, was targeted six times, and scored a touchdown. Carter and Hall were operating as 1a and 1b through the first three weeks, but it looks like that's done now, with Hall settling in as 1 and Carter falling back to 2. Carter won't be more than a touchdown-dependent RB4 unless that changes.
