Michael Carter Gets A Dozen Touches In Week 2
2 years agoNew York Jets running back Michael Carter got a dozen touches in a Week 2 win over the Cleveland Browns. He ran the ball seven times for 23 yards and caught five passes on five targets for an additional 27 yards. Carter got the ball a lot, but wasn't able to put up any particularly big plays. His longest run was for just eight yards and his biggest catch went for 12. He still saw more touches than rookie Breece Hall, but Hall had a much more effective game, scoring a touchdown as well. Carter and Hall will continue to split backfield work, but Hall could be taking the larger share before long.
