Michael Brantley Has Boom-Or-Bust Potential
6 years agoHouston Astros outfielder Michael Brantley is having a solid spring training with his new team, hitting .313 in 32 at-bats this spring. Brantley is as professional hitter as it gets in baseball but the 31-year-old has failed to stay healthy throughout his career. The upside for Brantley is obvious hitting in a potent Astros offense but has a tendency to be a slow starter in April and May. He should see in increase in RBI-opportunities but only hit .254 with runners in scoring position last season. Brantley definitely deserves to be drafted in almost all fantasy formats but his value shouldn't rise above the mid-rounds.
