Michael Arroyo Fills The Scoresheet On Thursday
3 months agoSeattle Mariners third base/shortstop prospect Michael Arroyo went 4-for-6 with a home run and five RBI on Thursday evening. This impressive performance was his second-straight multi-hit performance with a long ball. In addition, this game extended his overall hitting streak to six games. Since moving up to High-A Everett on May 25, the infielder has held a strong .284/.415/.523 line with six home runs, 18 RBI, two stolen bases, and a 21:37 BB:K ratio. At the start of the summer, Arroyo got his second look at Single-A ball and posted a solid .279/.404/.500 line. The utility infielder is ranked as the ninth-best prospect in the Seattle pipeline on MLB.com and could have an opportunity to move up to Double-A next summer, given his stellar production.
