Michael A. Taylor, Howie Kendrick Rehabbing In Florida
6 years agoWashington Nationals outfielder Michael A. Taylor (hip, knee) and second baseman Howie Kendrick (hamstring) continue to rehab at the team's spring training complex in Florida. Kendrick has taken at-bats in a minor league game without running, while Taylor is taking part in light baseball activities such as hitting off a tee, soft toss, light throwing and catching at 90 feet and light running on the field and in a pool. General manager Mike Rizzo doesn't want to put a timetable on their returns, but neither injury is serious and both players could return at some point in April. Both Taylor and Kendrick are reserves, but Taylor offers more fantasy upside with his power/speed combination if he ever is forced into regular playing time.
