Mets Claim Chance Cisco, J.D. Davis To 60-Day IL
3 years agoThe New York Mets claimed catcher Chance Cisco from the Baltimore Orioles on Friday. The club optioned the 26-year-old to Triple-A Syracuse, and he is simply catcher depth for the organization and remains well off the fantasy radar. To make room for Cisco, the Mets transferred third baseman J.D. Davis (hand) to the 60-day-injured list. Davis will be eligible to return on July 1 against the Braves next Thursday in Atlanta. The return of the 28-year-old will be a big boost for the Mets lineup, as he's hit .295/.377/.491 during his three-year tenure with the team.
