6 years agoThe Arizona Diamondbacks signed pitcher Merrill Kelly to a free-agent deal with an invitation to spring training, while also recently adding outfielder Rob Refsnyder, shortstop Kelby Tomlinson and pitchers Michael Kohn and Lucas Luetge on minor-league deals. Kelly is the biggest signing, and he has the chance to make the greatest fantasy impact. He enjoyed success with the Tampa Bay Rays organization back in 2013-14, compiling 17 victories in two seasons at Triple-A Durham. However, he wasn't able to make it to the majors, and elected to pitch overseas for three seasons with the SK Wyverns in the KBO (Korean Baseball). He is a pitcher worth monitoring in the spring, but don't risk a fantasy roster spot on him just yet.--Daniel Dobish
