2 years agoDenver Broncos running back Melvin Gordon had only three rushing attempts for eight yards in the Week 6 19-16 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. Despite the great matchup against a poor Los Angeles run defense, Gordon was a massive fantasy bust. After earning three rushing attempts early in the game, the veteran running back was benched and clearly frustrated on the sidelines. Head coach Nathaniel Hackett said he had a "great talk" with Gordon, and the veteran running back will start in Week 7 against the New York Jets. While the head coach's words are positive news for the running back, fantasy players might find it hard to trust Hackett given some of his decisions this year. Hopefully, Gordon earns the bulk of work this week, and fantasy players can trust him moving forward.--Mike Fanelli
