Melvin Gordon Unlikely To Be Traded
5 years agoLos Angeles Chargers running back Melvin Gordon is unlikely to be traded before the start of the regular season. Gordon must now make the decision on whether to show up and play in Week 1 against the Colts or to continue his holdout and forfeit game checks. His fantasy stock has obviously fallen while being away from the team for all of training camp and the preseason. As it stands now, the Chargers would split the backfield between Austin Ekeler and Justin Jackson in the season opener if Gordon continues to stay away. Ekeler has more fantasy upside and should be seen as an RB3/flex in Week 1 if Gordon remains absent.
