Melvin Gordon To Miss A Few Weeks
6 years agoLos Angeles Chargers running back Melvin Gordon (knee) has been diagnosed with a Grade 2 MCL sprain that he suffered in the Week 12 blowout win over the Cardinals, according to sources. He will miss the next few weeks but should be back before the end of the regular season, barring any setbacks. It's a devastating blow for Gordon's fantasy owners entering the playoffs in a week. Austin Ekeler will be the primary back in Gordon's absence and will have high-end RB2 upside. Scoop him up immediately if he's on your league's waiver wire. Justin Jackson could also come into some flex value as the backup with Gordon sidelined.
