Melvin Gordon Expected To See Lots Of Work
6 years agoLos Angeles Chargers running back Melvin Gordon got off to a fast start for 2018, and it should continue rolling in Week 2. Gordon put up an outrageous 166 total yards from scrimmage against the Chiefs, and now he'll get the chance to face a Buffalo team that got demolished by the Ravens in Week 1. Gordon will obviously continue to share a bit of time with Austin Ekeler, but his pass-catching abilities mean he should be one of the team's primary targets in a game where LA is heavily favored and could possibly turn it into a blowout. If the Chargers are able to open up a healthy lead, expect Gordon to get plenty of ground opportunities to eat clock.
