Los Angeles Chargers running backs Melvin Gordon (knee) and Austin Ekeler (concussion, neck) both missed practice on Monday. The Chargers are hoping Gordon can return from a two-game absence due to a knee sprain, but it's not a good start to the week. He could be a game-time decision on Thursday against the Chiefs. Ekeler is doubtful to play this week and is dealing with a concussion on top of a bruised nerve in his neck. If Gordon can't suit up, rookie Justin Jackson would serve in a workhorse role and have RB2 upside in a good matchup. Rookie Detrez Newsome is the only other running back on the depth chart behind Jackson.--Keith Hernandez
