Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman Mekhi Becton (undisclosed) was seen limping for most of training camp practice on Sunday and seemed to be in noticeable discomfort before heading indoors. The injury-prone Becton signed a one-year, $5.5 million deal with the Eagles back in April. The 25-year-old former 11th overall pick in 2020 out of Louisville was a bust in his time with the Jets and had multiple lower-body injuries keep him off the field. He missed all of 2022 but played in a career-high 16 games in his final season in New York in 2023. This could be bad news for Philly, as they signed him with the expectation that he would start this year at offensive guard in place of Tyler Steen (ankle) to begin the year. Becton has had multiple injuries to his right knee, so if his current injury is to the same knee, he could be sidelined for the start of the regular season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
