Maximilian Kleber Scores Career-High 24 Points
5 years agoDallas Mavericks power forward Maximilian Kleber set a new career high with 24 points against the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday night. Although the Mavericks lost in overtime, Kleber was a bright spot with his 24 points, four rebounds, two assists and six made three-pointers. The six three-pointers were also a career high, and Kleber is shooting 39.8% from behind the arc on the season. Some thought that he would fade away once Dwight Powell returned early in the season, but his performances are earning him more minutes. He's now played at least 31 minutes in four of his last six games and seems to be the go-to man while Kristaps Porzingis recovers from his injury.
