Max Muncy Hits Grand Slam Against Giants
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers infielder Max Muncy had a big night against the division-rival San Francisco Giants on Monday night in a 9-1 win. Muncy went 3-for-3 with a three-run home run, a grand slam, seven RBI, two runs scored and a walk. It was nice to see from the 32-year-old veteran left-handed hitter, as he came into Monday's contest by going 4-for-33 in the early going this year. The two-time All-Star is now hitting .194 (7-for-36) with three home runs, nine RBI, eight runs scored, eight walks and 16 strikeouts in 45 plate appearances in his first 10 games. The strikeout numbers are alarming, but fantasy managers will be hoping that Muncy's big game on Monday will get him going as we get into the middle of April.
