Max Kepler Swats 10th Homer
3 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Max Kepler went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Sunday's 12-9 win over the Detroit Tigers. Kepler's homer left his bat at 100.1 MPH with a .510 expected batting average. The lefty slugger is now up to 10 homers and seven stolen bases on the season, with some solid Statcast metrics to support his actual numbers. With Byron Buxton (hand) sidelined for the foreseeable future, Kepler should see his fair share of time in the Twins' outfield, making him a solid OF3 for the second half.
