Max Kepler Notches RBI Double
3 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Max Kepler collected an RBI double in Tuesday's 7-6 loss to the Chicago White Sox. Kepler broke an 0-for-8 stretch in the seventh inning, doubling in a run to make the score 7-4. The hit traveled at 101.3 MPH and was just his second extra-base hit since returning from the injured list. Kepler is registering the highest barrel rate of his career and a fly-ball rate in line with his career averages, though the power numbers- six home runs in 163 at-bats- haven't been there. Fantasy managers should be patient with Kepler, who hit four home runs in a nine-game stretch in May before his injury.
