Minnesota Twins outfielder Max Kepler (hamstring) has been placed on the injured list with a hamstring strain. The 30-year-old left Thursday's game early with a leg cramp and then was able to appear as a pinch-hitter during Friday's contest. Surprisingly, he lands on the IL on Saturday with a hamstring strain. Kepler owns a .742 OPS with six home runs over 99 at-bats on the season. Trevor Larnach has been recalled from Triple-A St. Paul in a corresponding move.
