Max Kepler Activated Off Injured List, Starting In Right Field
3 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Max Kepler (hamstring) has been activated off the injured list and is starting in right field Friday against the Texas Rangers, per MLB.com's Do-Hyoung Park. Kepler has been sidelined since May 29 with a left hamstring strain. He participated in three rehab games with the Triple-A St. Paul Saints before getting the call from the Twins. Kepler labored through a tough month of April- he had no homers heading into May- before going yard five times and swiping a pair of bases in May to go along with a .773 OPS before he was injured. The Twins sent Gilberto Celestino back down to the minors in a corresponding move.
