Max Holloway Shines In Saturday's Main Event
4 years agoMax Holloway (22-6) showed why many consider him arguably the greatest featherweight of all time on Saturday, taking a dominant unanimous decision from young star Calvin Kattar. After suffering back-to-back losses to Alexander Volkanovski, Holloway needed a big win to remain in title talks, and he did exactly that. Blessed landed an astounding 445 significant strikes (447 total strikes), averaging out to about 17 significant strikes per minute. There is a reason why Holloway is the UFC's all-time leader in significant strikes landed. Holloway looks to return to his old ways and is always a roster consideration with his high-volume output.
