Max Fried To Pitch Against Washington
1 year agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Max Fried (finger) will make his next start at some point during the club's series against the Washington Nationals, which will start on Thursday, according to Justin Toscano of the Atlanta-Journal Constitution. The southpaw has been dealing with a finger issue and hasn't started a game since September 12. Over 71 2/3 innings this season, Fried has pitched to a 2.64 ERA, 1.17 WHIP, and 25.3% strikeout rate with a 7-1 record. He'll avoid an injured list stint, which is great news for fantasy managers, and he remains a must-start arm moving forward.
