4 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Max Fried had a strong outing in Wednesday's 5-3 win over the Washington Nationals. Fried pitched five innings and allowed four hits, one walk and one earned run while striking out six. This was Fried's first start in about three weeks as he was on the injured list with a hamstring injury. Fried was off to a rough start to the year before his stint on the injured list. He allowed seven earned runs over four innings to the Miami Marlins in his last start before hitting the injured list. Hopefully, he'll be able to build off Wednesday's start and return to his 2020 form, when he pitched to a 2.25 ERA and a 1.09 WHIP. His next start will be on Tuesday against the Toronto Blue Jays.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
