6 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Max Fried (groin) allowed three earned runs on four hits while walking four and striking out five in 4 1/3 innings with Triple-A Gwinnett on Friday. It's not the cleanest outing for the young left-hander, but he's closer to rejoining the Braves. Fried was 1-4 with a clean 3.14 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 36 strikeouts in 28 2/3 innings over 10 outings (five starts) in his second season. If he rejoins the rotation, the southpaw has strikeout upside as a streamer in the right matchups in deeper leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
