Max Fried Efficient In Saturday's Rehab Start
1 year agoAtlanta Braves left-hander Max Fried (forearm) allowed two hits and no walks while striking out three over three scoreless innings in Saturday's rehab start with High-A Rome. The 29-year-old threw 30 pitches, landing 23 for strikes. He has been sidelined since early May with a left forearm strain. The southpaw is on track to return in late July. He posted a 2.08 ERA, 1.08 WHIP, and a 25:6 K: BB across 26 innings before landing on the injured list. Fried will have a few more rehab starts as he continues to be stretched out. Fantasy managers should continue to stash him in all league formats.
