Matthew Stafford Throws Three Touchdowns In Lions Loss
5 years agoDetroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford continued his excellent season on Sunday, passing for 406 yards and three touchdowns in the Lions loss to the Raiders. Stafford has now passed for at least 342 yards and three touchdowns in three consecutive games and looks poised for a career year in his second year under head coach Matt Patricia. The recent surge in throwing the ball is likely due to the Lions placement of Kerryon Johnson (knee) on IR, but fantasy owners aren't complaining. Stafford has a tough matchup in Chicago against the Bears coming up in Week 10, he will slot in as a low-end QB1 for that matchup.
