5 years agoDetroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford draws a decent matchup in Week 1 against the Arizona Cardinals. The Cardinals Defense allowed a mid-of-the-road 205 passing yards per game last year. Most Vegas books have the Lions as two and a half to three point favorites with a game total of right around 50. If this game does stays close and the 50 point total is accurate, the game script for Stafford is really good. The ball will need to be moving through the air and of course, Stafford will be a primary beneficiary of that. Regardless, hopefully Stafford can be a QB2 option in most leagues but is roster-able as a QB1 if needed.--Corey Johnson
