1 year agoSan Diego Padres starting pitcher Matt Waldron is being recalled to take the mound against the Washington Nationals on Saturday. The left-hander is one of the few minor leaguers that feature a knuckleball. Now, Waldron will be the only current MLB player to have one. This season, Waldron holds a 7.02 ERA, 1.65 WHIP and a 75/24 K/BB ratio over 66 2/3 innings in Triple-A. He has been roughed up this season, but still might be a serviceable streaming option against the Nats lineup.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
