7 years agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher Matt Shoemaker (forearm) said that there has been "drastic improvement" to the nerve irritation that has been plaguing his right arm. He hopes to begin throwing again in a week or two. That's great news for deep league Shoemaker owners, as that means he could be back in mid to late May. The Angels currently only have five pitchers for their six-man rotation, so expect Parker Bridwell to get a handful of spot starts until Shoemaker is able to return. Bridwell is a deep league streamer, at best, while he works himself back into game shape.--patton
