Matt Moore Still Dealing With Soreness
1 year agoLos Angeles Angels reliever Matt Moore (oblique) is still dealing with some soreness in his oblique and won't throw on Sunday, per manager Phil Nevin. Moore has been out since May 28 with a Grade 2 oblique strain and he was initially expected to be activated from the IL this upcoming week. He threw a simulated game on Saturday, which caused the soreness on Sunday. The Angels' skipper said it wasn't necessarily a setback but they're going to monitor Moore over the next 24 hours and see how he feels tomorrow. This throws off Moore's timetable and the Angels will likely be cautious with one of their best bullpen arms. They should provide another update on Monday.
