6 years agoThe Cincinnati Reds placed outfielder Matt Kemp on the 10-day injured list on Tuesday with a broken rib and called up outfielder Phillip Ervin from Triple-A Louisville in a corresponding move. Kemp was injured while crashing into the wall on Sunday. Kemp was batting just .200 (12-for-60) with a homer, five RBI and 19 strikeouts on the year, so he's droppable in most mixed leagues. His injury will allow Scott Schebler to continue playing every day for the time being. Ervin will simply be outfield depth and can be avoided in most fantasy leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
