Matt Harvey Suffers Setback
5 years agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher Matt Harvey (back) suffered a setback on his rehab assignment, according to manager Brad Ausmus. The veteran right-hander aggravated his upper back while with Triple-A Salt Lake, and Ausmus is "a little bit" concerned. Adding insult to injury, Harvey surrendered eight hits (one homer) and eight earned runs while walking two and striking out three in 2 2/3 innings during his rehab start with Salt Lake over the weekend. That hurts, both literally and figuratively. He doesn't have a timetable for a return, although fantasy owners should've moved on already after he started the year 2-4 with a ghastly 7.50 ERA, 1.52 WHIP and 35 K's in 48 innings over his 10 starts for the Halos.
