The Nashville Predators inked center Matt Duchene to a seven-year, $56 million contract on Monday, keeping him in the Music City through the 2025-26 season. "Our objective this offseason was to bolster our offense, and signing Matt Duchene gives us another dynamic goal-scoring, playmaking center," general manager David Poile said. Duchene split time between the Columbus Blue Jackets and Ottawa Senators last season, tying a season high with 70 points while lighting the lamp 31 times. His plus/minus rating should improve in the Music City, and he remains a must-start fantasy option across the board.--Daniel Dobish
